New Mega Bio Chopper cleans out the interplanted tomato crops
A brand new Mega Bio Chopper is put into operation at Maroa Farms in Coldwater (MI). The crop shredder is designed for high speed shredding of plants (tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers a.o.) and leaves in hydroponic greenhouses.
This machine is powered by a John Deere interim Tier 4 dieselengine, which meets the highest emission standards (98% clean), making it perfect for removal of cultivations, while the new (interplanted) plants are already in the greenhouse.
This crop rotation machine is fully remote controlled and build to the highest level of safety.
The shredder is equipped with a bunch of features, such as an integrated buffer, a swiveling output, automatic grinding unit, metal detection, independent tarp steering and easy access for maintenance.
The inlet table with independent tarp steering enables working from both sides of the machine. This way the greenhouse is cleaned out in one go.
